MOOF has a fish pond 50 metres by 30 metres with two ends of 3 feet and 4 feets deep, which it uses to raise tilapia fish. The fish is fed with vegetable remains from the organic restaurant and other vegetable waste from the farm.
The pond also serves as habitat for other aquatic wild life such as frogs and wasps among others.
The water from the pond which is very rich in nitrogen and other nutrients is also drained from time to time and used for irrigating crops in the farm. The pond and existence of fish in centre of the farm is a testament that MOOF Africa is truly organic.
