We have a vermicompost system that we use to make high-value compost for our soil fertility. The compost is produced through the action of special worms, Eisenia fetida.
The worms are known to have special characteristics; they are heavy feeders, in fact, they feed on material half their body weight in a given feeding session. Their breeding rate is also prolifically high.
